Problem with enforcing order of approval in a transition

When using the option of several approvals in a transition and ticking the box, enforce order of approvals all approvers receive an email when the transition is used.

However, only the first approver can approve. When the others follow the link of the mail ('An issue is awaiting your approval') they cannot do anything. The second approver can only accept, after the first approver has accepted. We believe the email should only be sent when there is an open task and not simultaneously.

Example with 3 approvers:

• transition is used --> approver 1 receives a mail

• approver 1 accepts --> approver 2 receives a mail

• approver 2 accepts --> approver 3 receives a mail
