New grid view: Enhance filtering for cascading lists

A column with a dropdown field can be filtered by selecting several options from the list of possible values (see screenshot desired).

A column with a cascading list from a user perspective as well is a dropdown field. However, filtering this column is only possible through typing in a text like in a free text field (see screenshot current). This prevents from selecting several values.

It would be nice to offer the same functionality to filter a cascading list column as it is implemented for the dropdown column.
